The Pinball Collector's Resource had an entry for a Chicago Coin "Cobs". I found no references to this game, although many were found for "Gobs" in WW2 Billboard ads. Frank Laughlin has since confirmed that the game is indeed Gobs and not Cobs. "Gobs" being a slang term for a sailor according to Frank. As you can see in the photo, sailors are indeed central to the theme (along with Dot, Mae, Eve and Joan). Apparantly Dick Bueschel says that this was the last Chicago Coin pre-war pinball game.
