Coin-Op Ads For Sale

Listed here are hundreds of ads and images for sale for a variety of coll old coin-op games and devices. From 400 pound behemoth jukeboxes to featherweight counter top marvels that spit out tokens for matching up some reels. The images have been or will be digitally scanned and painstakingly edited on computer to make them look as good as possible.

Most ads currently listed are from 1940-43. there are also some from the 1920s and a few slick ones from the 30s. Over time hundreds of others will be added, with the main focus being from 1931-50. It's a lot of work just to index these ads.

Most recently added were ads from 1943, right from the middle of WW2.

About the Ads

Lamination

Lamination for any ad is available for $1.50 per page. If you are not going to file the ad in a binder in a sheet protector, then this is the way to go. Makes the ad look very attractive, while making it much more robust to handle. You can leave them on or near your game for people to pick up and read. Note that all non-laminated ads are shipped in sheet protectors at no extra charge.

Laminate your ads? Click here. Set the quantity to how many pages you wish laminated.

Please Be Patient

If you order these ads it may take me a day or two to complete the work on them. Please be patient, as you are buying my time for about $2 an hour to make these ads look nice! If you wish an ad for a game or machine not listed please just ask - I can usually respond within a day or less. Note: I do not sell or provide raw photocopies or high resolution scans of ads.

Ad Sizes

The original ads came in all shapes and sizes. Many were taken from oversized magazines and were full page, half page or quarter page and after scanning and editing fill up most of an 8.5 by 11 page. Other ads were smaller than that and did not contain game pictures or sketches. These are priced accordingly less. Ask if you have any questions!

Other images come directly from manfacturers brochures and are generally full page sized. Some are full color, while others contain one spot color such as red.

Shipping is at a flat rate (currently just over $3, but see the shopping cart for actual price) for one or more ads (USA and Canada - other destinations will be more). If you are ordering oversized ads that need to be rolled and shipped in a tube, the cost could be a couple of dollars higher. I don't profit on shipping and sometimes lose.

The Ad List

Legend

  • Product Id - the product number for reference
  • Name - the name of the game
  • Mfr - the game manufacturer
  • Year - the year the game was produced (or the year the ad was published)
  • Color - B (black and white), C (one spot color), F (full color)
  • Price - the price of the ad
  • Notes - additional comments. Comments such as "with Home Run" means the indicated ad also features the game Home Run. The Home Run entry would also indicate that it was with the other game if the same image was referred to. The "no pic" remark means that no picture of the game appears in the ad - it may be text only or may include fancy graphics but without the game being shown.

Keep in mind that one physical ad may show up under two separate entries if more than one game is featured. Please email me if you have questions about what any individual ad contains.
